Hi - thanks for checking out our site. Please find below some basic info. about JAM Mag!!
Aim:-
To show how the Christian faith is culturally relevant to young people in the UK.
Content:-
We aim to have a wide range of content material so that there's at least something for most people in the mag. We cover sports, music, films, dance, fun stuff, quizzes, features & editorials. Interviews & Real Life Stories feature heavily. Details of the current mags & previous issues can be found on the relevant pages of this site.
Theme :
Each mag has a big 'theme' running through it. So every article is linked to theme BUT if somebody was to pick the mag up & only read one article it would make sense on it's own. There are enough articles & features in each issue to enable the mag to be used as a group activity or discussion starter for the term.
Reader age range:-
It's difficult to be too precise on the age range as every young person is different - although we suggest the age range is 11 to 17. We write the mag as though it's written for the top end of the age range...
Frequency & print dates:-
There are three issues a year to coincide with school or college terms – mags are printed in early Jan, May and Sept……
Mag uses:-
There are loads of different ways the mag can be of interest or use....including youth cafes, clubs, schools work etc - please contact us for more info.
Sales:-
We sell direct! There are pricing structures for both the current mag & back copies. More info is available on the purchase page.
Samples:-
If you've not seen JAM before there are sample pages of both the Current [Issue 29] & most recent Back Copies [Issues 28 & 27] on both the Current or Samples pages. We've also placed full copies of Issues 24 to 26 on the samples page or you can check out on www.issuu.com/jammag

NEW development :
We've recently created a website that intends to LINK together & advertise lots of different aspects of youth work - jobs, year outs, events, music, resources and so on - for both youth workers and young people alike. Check out www.jamlinks.co.uk for more info.
